Hence, a geometric transformation would mean to make some changes in any given geometric shape.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"1-types-of-transformations-\"><strong>Types of Transformations:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Based on how we change a given image, there are five main transformations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\"><br>1.&nbsp;<strong>Translation<\/strong>&nbsp;happens when we move the image without changing anything in it. Hence the shape, size, and orientation remain the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The given shape in blue is shifted 5 units down as shown by the red arrow, and the transformed image formed is shown in maroon.
