increases the base value of something else.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">For example, in the multiplication statement $3 \\times 4 = 12$, the multiplier 3 amplifies the value of 4 to 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">But it need not be the case always.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"eplus-wrapper\">If the <strong>multiplier<\/strong> is 1, the value of the multiplicand remains the same in the product.&nbsp;For example: $1 \\times 4 = 4$.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"eplus-wrapper\">If the
