The common point of contact is called the vertex of an angle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adjacent Meaning in Math:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When two things are placed right next to each other, we say they are \u201cadjacent.\u201d In mathematics, when we use terms such as adjacent angles, adjacent sides, etc,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it means \u201cadjoining\u201d or \u201cside-by-side.\u201d
