Divide Decimals by Power of 10
- Grade 5 MathDivide decimals (up to hundredths place) by a power of 10. The focus of the Divide Decimals by a Multiple of 10 Worksheet is the pattern in placement of the decimal digit in the quotient, when a decimal is divided by a power of 10. In general, when divided by a power n of 10, the decimal point shifts n place to the left. Students must also work with scenarios, where it is necessary to prepend 0's in the product. For example, 0.34 ÷ 10 = 0.034.
