Compare and contrast (IT) - Part 2

In this detailed lesson plan, students are introduced to the concepts of firsthand and secondhand perspective through reading a passage titled 'Just Listen', playing Vocabulary Charades game, and participating in a quick energizer activity called 'Find the Differences'. They will also have the opportunity to identify examples of these perspectives in a text, compare and contrast them, and write their own secondhand perspective of the story. The session concludes with a summary of the main points covered and an exit slip for self-assessment. If time permits, additional practice is provided through writing or telling a firsthand account of a vacation gone wrong.
