In this interactive lesson titled 'Reality Check', students will learn to differentiate between real and fantasy elements in a story. The session begins with an introduction to the concepts of reality and fantasy, followed by a read-aloud story activity where students practice fluent reading with expression. Students then engage in independent practice activities that reinforce their understanding of the concepts. If time permits, additional activities are provided for further practice. The lesson concludes with a summary of the main points covered and an exit slip for self-assessment.
