Mastering the Art of Telling Time - Lesson Plan

The main objective of 'Time Travelers: An Interactive Lesson on Reading Analog Clocks' is to help students master the skill of reading time on an analog clock by understanding quarter hours, the minute hand, and relating quarters to minutes.

In Task 4, students learn that each quarter represents 15 minutes on an analog clock. They practice writing time in quarters and matching it with its digital representation in minutes.

In the Speak Up! section, students have an opportunity to share what they learned in the lesson within a given timeframe. They can discuss activities that took them different amounts of time and explain the difference between 'quarter past' and 'quarter to'.
